Nah, no way. The 360 looks un-attractive in it's design man. It looks like like a cheap grey plastic carry case with buttons tacked on to it. The only 360 that looks ok is the Elite edition only because it's coloured in black. And as for the Halo edition? Don't get me started, the green and brown colours on the Halo edition 360 just make the whole console look hideous - it looks like it's been dipped in a swamp. The PS3 just looks alot more sleeker, smarter and modern in it's design. Yeah the...

ROTFL!!!!......This Power of Green is cryin like a b*tch reporting stories and all that because he's crying about an article on the 360 version of GTA 4 placed wrongly? LOL you really need to fix up man!!

I have a copy of the EDGE, a highly respected UK gaming magazine (issue 187 April 2008).

In this issue there is a special large feature on GTA 4 with a very long in-depth interview with Sam Houser (co-president of Rockstar and co-creator of the GTA series). This a direct quote from Houser himself from that interview extracted from EDGE magazine:

" Another area Houser doesn't want us to talk about too specifically right now is downloadable content (currently ...

The guy states in the article that he's using a 360 controller to play the game. Now some negative stuff is being said the 360 guys not boasting anymore about their version being previewed all the time in the media, funny aint it?

And your point is? How about this - generally no one here is interested in your opinion. Shall I explain why? Because everyone here is talking about GTA 4, a franchise game they all love and want to buy for their consoles. This post is for those who like GTA and want to talk about it. If it's a dumb and boring game, then you must be dumb and boring yourself to be talking about it.

Whats up with you? Yes you are right - I dont know exactly how much GTA 4 copies are allocated for each platform at each store. But I do know what the article says, which is that "the PS3 version appears to be higher in demand than it's rival". I'm not grasping at straws or anything, it seems like you are! I just repeated to Snukadaman what the article states about the PS3 version thats all. And why do you seem so bitter about this news? Why do you care so much about it? Go and fin...

This article it seems is talking about the 360 version having pop-up and framerate issues. If you read the article closely you will see they are referring to the 360. You 360 guys have been boasting the whole time that all the previews and hands-on tests of GTA 4 being shown to the media so far have been on the 360 (which pretty much has has been the case). Now that you hear stories of a few minor graphical glitches/flaws on the 360 version you wanna now start talking sh*t about the PS3 versi...

You can rant all you want and believe what you want and this alright as it's your own opinion. But it says it right here, the PS3 version seems to be in higher demand. Facts is facts ya heard?

I've pre-ordered it for my PS3 already so I've done contributed my bit to the sell-out of the PS3 version in the UK. Damn it looks like the PS3 version is selling like hot cakes right now!

@ sonarus - damn you always seem to keep popping up first amongst the the first few bunch of comments on every interesting article. You like to keep ahead of that pack dont you? LOL no big thing just noticed thats all.

Back to the main point. I just seriously hope that the PS3 version of GTA 4 does not have these pop-ups and framerate issues. From what I can see from reading this this article it seems like they are talking about the 360 version of the game. I'm not expecting ou...

I've already explained my decision in a previous comment on this post, so any of you can click the pages to view it and respond if you wish. If there is anything that will get me very excited about GTA after I've played and finished GTA 4, it will be the next ACTUAL GTA GAME, not episodic DLC. Me personally, I'd be anticipating news and information about the next GTA title in the making rather than get my d*ck hard over some exclusive DLC. That's of course if you ask me.

April 29th 2008. I have that day off work. So I'm just gonna sleep well the night before, wake up not too early and not too late. I'll have breakfast, then have a shower and get clothed. Then I'm gonna take the subway train and head into the West End (London) and pick up my pre-order copy of GTA 4 from my nearest GAME reatiler. Then I'm my way home to play it!

I'm really getting worried about this Jason 360 guy.

@ Jason 360 - Why do you so strongly defend Microsoft and the 360? And why are you so anti-Sony and full of hatred for Sony and the PS3? At first all this stuff coming from you seems funny, but now I see it's not so funny after all. In fact it aint funny one bit now. It's actually dead serious and worrying to see a guy getting so heated and posting up comments everyday fighting to the death to defend your favourite console, w...

I'm buying the PS3 version because it's the only current-gen console I own. Episodic DLC for GTA 4 dont really matter to me that much. I just want the actual main game, thats all I'm concerned about. Dont get me wrong - if DLC is offered on the PS3 at some later stage I would gladly welcome it and have a look at it to see if it's worth buying. But my viewpoint is that it is not essential for me to have DLC on GTA 4. The game looks huge enough as it is with various aspects of gameplay and ther...

I agree with you man. Glad to be a gamer seems to have this dislike and hatred for the PS3 and everything about it and I've noticed in nearly every single one of his comments he puts the PS3 down in some form or another. He clearly is very pro-360 and anti-PS3 and there is nothing wrong with that it's his preference, but what I find really wierd is that he always tries to pretend he's not a 360 supporter/fanboy and that he's neutral and non-biased in his opinions, rather than just admit he su...

LOL this is real funny man. Im surprised he's only said something now, there has been many gay insults flying around up in here like it's the norm.

On a more serious note though.....

@ ElementX - you gay people need to stop comparing being gay to belonging to a racial group other than white (ie. black, jewish latino). I'm black and straight and I hate it when you gays do this. Stop acting like you share the same struggle as us. You're white (I assume) and you don...

First of all....I dont believe that only one console format is gonna advertise this game when it's a HUGE multi-platform title. Of course they will advertise it for both consoles. I'm not sure who will get the better exposure or larger share of attention, but I'm sure it will be massively advertised for both the PS3 and the 360.

"It looks as if the game will be getting similar treatment games like Assassins Creed and Burnout Paradise saw upon their release, with the title ...

You seem like a guy who knows what he's talking about. It's funny because I have a friend who has both a 360 and a PS3 and I told him about episodic DLC on the 360 version of GTA 4. He had no idea that it even existed for the 360. He was kinda interested, but not very much so as you'd expect. It seems like he's still getting the PS3 version anyway. I live in London (UK) and from what I see and hear, I dont really believe very many gamers here (both hardcore and casual) actually know about thi...
